About the Event
Four piece indie rock band The Lilacs from Wigan, England, have been the topic of much discussion recently and are regarded by many as one of the North West’s top musical prospects for the future
Comprised of vocalist Ollie Anglesea, guitarist Sam Birchall, drummer Dave Gomersall and bassist Matty Johnson, the band have produced three excellent singles so far: Vicarage Road, their debut and most popular single, Something or Nothing, an upbeat guitar tune with somewhat depressing lyrics, and Seen It All, probably the most musically complete song of the lot, featuring quality drumming and a melodic performance by Ollie.
The Hangman's Howl hale from Knutsford Cheshire. The duo heavily influenced by The Arctic Monkeys and the Libertines and are simply awesome. If Pete Doherty and Alex Turner got together on a night out it would litterally be The Hangman's Howl. Original material that will leave you wanting more
The duo are regulars in the area but are destin for huge sussess so come down and see them so that you can say you were there for the begining of it.
