About the Event

This northwest outfit are seasoned festival stage performers and have forged a superb reputation for live sets. They have been supporting The Wailers on their UK tour fusing styles of reggae, rock, ska and pop, to make a truly memorable and essential new sound.

Previous tours include sharing the stage with Madness, UB40, Hollie Cook and Steel Pulse.

Many festival slots include Boomtown Fair, Beat Herder, Kendal Calling, Arezzo Wave Festival (Italy), Zwarte Cross Festival (Holland), Mad Hatters Festival (France), Lytham Festival with Brian Adams, Bowlers Scafest with The Selecter & The Beat and Weyfest with Level 42.

Support comes from local outfit Dirty Vertebrae.

Dirty Vertebrae are a rap/ska/grunge collective from North-West England whose socially aware and positively charged music is an infusion of hip-hop beats and rock riffs. Formed in 2012 in Northwich Cheshire, Dirty Vertebrae draw their influences from early Chilli's, Rage Against The Machine and Incubus. Fronted by rapper Ash P and vocalist Nicole, the band's signature sound consists of rapid-fire, conscious raps and beautiful, soaring melodies over a bed of crunching, uncompromising rock. Dirty Vertebrae perform across the U.K. and are a favourite on the festival scene, with repeat performances at Car-Fest, Bearded Theory, Beautiful Days and Deerstock; as well as regular airplay and support from independent online radio stations and BBC Introducing.
