Morning’s Thief is the resident curio of the Stoke music scene with songs about such subjects as (amongst other things); town planners, the castration of domestic animals and the golden age of railway. Marrying these themes to sometimes bittersweet, often menacing, always off-kilter songwriting, their deployment of ghostly vocals bestriding musical complexity is a singular mix of post-prog exploratory rock and melodic songsmithery with just a pinch of psych folk.
